Ustad Kadar Khan represents the 7th generation of tabla players in his
family, and has performed with many of India's leading musicians.
He
carries a wealth of knowledge from four tabla gharanas (schools)
namely Delhi, Farukhabad, Ajrada and Luckow, and has developed numerous
techniques and methods which simplify this sophisticated instrument and
system of rhythm, making the instrument more accessible to students of all
levels.
